Winter Hazard Awareness Week

It’s an interesting coincidence that the region’s first snowfall comes during Winter Hazard Awareness Week in Minnesota.  Clearwater County Sheriff Darin Halverson tells us something important when it comes to the forecast: the difference between a watch and a warning.

Halverson says if you do decide to drive during a winter storm, you had better be prepared in case you get stuck.

Halverson also says you shouldn’t count on having cell phone reception during a storm, so have a charging device on hand, too.
