Yet Another New Scam To Watch For

ST. PAUL, MN—There’s a new scam making the rounds.  It’s a text message supposedly coming from the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles…claiming that you have an outstanding traffic ticket and providing a link where you can send your payment.  The Minnesota Department of Public Safety–that’s the genuine agency’s name–doesn’t use text messaging to get payment for overdue parking tickets. If you get a text or email like this, just ignore it.
