Oh Canada: Food Truck Fun w/ Kathy Handberg
On his last Oh Canada Show, Ed had Kathy Handberg on as a special guest so she could talk about the Food Truck she owns named Talk On The Street Eatery. This past Cinco de Mayo she had an event at the Hallett Brewery and she was asked about how it went.
So where did she get the idea to get a food truck?
For Kathy’s very first event, she didn’t even have the truck yet as she talked about being in a tent for the first time.
Clearly, she found success and was even able to continue to book events with the food truck.
Kathy also talked about the big objective that she has for the truck within Fort Frances.
And all of this was thanks to the help of her staff who made up of many close friends and family.
To make sure your mouth was watering, Kathy Handberg was asked about her menu for Talk On The Street Eatery.
And Ed’s wife made sure he asked Kathy about the Pickle Poutine that she serves.
Still not hungry yet? Here’s how Mrs. Handberg came upon the recipe for her Pork Carnitas.
Sadly, you won’t find her at the Bass Fishing Tournament this weekend because she was booked for another event that weekend.
Although, she lets people know that their business isn’t just limited to the Rainy River District.
This upcoming season for Kathy will be her first full summer season with the food truck.
You can find Talk On The Street Eatery on Facebook and Instagram with the former also having Kathy’s phone number if you wanna reach out with questions.
