International Wolf Center: Wolf Family Rendezvous!
The Minnesotan wilderness provides an abundance of wildlife from fish to fauna, and one specific species are wolves. The International Wolf Center, located 1396 Highway 169 in Ely, whose mission is to educate the public by offering the most up-to-date, accurate wolf information possible held a fun Wolf Family Rendezvous program this past weekend. We got to talk to Education Manager Maddy Witt who told us all about the event and what it had to offer, as well as when the next one is taking place.
So what is the big goal for the Rendezvous program?
This is an event that the International Wolf Center has been doing for a very long time as Maddy Witt tells us.
So can people register right now for the next Wolf Family Rendezvous?
Mrs Witt was then asked if they expected a large group for the weekend.
She also gives us some more history on the Wolf Center itself.
Maddy Witt also makes sure to let us know what the registration fee is as well as how to sign up for a membership.
As well as giving people a heads up on other big events happening at the International Wolf Center.
We also asked her if she had any other encouragements for people interested in stopping by.
Out of curiosity, we asked a little more about the Voyageurs Wolf Project.
So be sure to visit their website if you’d like to register for the next Wolf Family Rendezvous on August 10th, or if you’d like to become a member. Or plan a visit to the center as their Summer Hours are 9am to 5pm from May 24 – October 20.
