High School Art Competition

LENGBY, MN—Students in grades 9 through 12 are invited to take part in an art competition.  It’s being held by The Old School Artist Retreat Center in Lengby.  Fosston High School art teacher Mike McColl, who operates the center with his wife, talks about the competition.

McColl says this competition won’t have just one winner.

McColl says there are negotiations going on with the Firefly Center for Art and Wellbeing in Fosston to hold a showing of the students’ works.  The deadline to enter is next Friday, October 11.  McColl also says an artwork doesn’t have to be completed to be entered in the competition.
