Highway 11/71 Corridor Meeting Recap

MnDOT is asking for community input on the future of the Highway 11/71 corridor through International Falls following a recent public planning meeting held at Minnesota North College – Rainy River. Officials say the study focuses on improving safety and traffic flow between County Road 91 and Highway 53.

Project leaders say they’re currently reviewing feedback and exploring a wide range of possible changes — from lane adjustments to speed and intersection improvements.

Community input is a major part of the process, with another round of updates expected early this summer.

MnDOT says residents can continue sharing feedback and reviewing materials through the project website as planning moves forward.
