Ada Police Department sharing reminders for Halloween

Halloween is one of the most dangerous times of year for pedestrians, which is why the Ada Police Department is reminding people to take extra precaution if they’re going to be going out on Saturday. Ada School Resource Officer Alex Saric says the department will be present on Halloween night.

With the influx of families out and about, Saric shares some reminders that all pedestrians and drivers should be following.

Saric says it’s also good to check over the candy your children bring home, as there could be things they’re allergic to, tampered with, or already open.

AutoInsurance.org reports that Pedestrians have a 50% higher chance of dying on Halloween, than on the average day.
