Ojibwe Storytelling at Long Lake Conservation Center on February 26th

(Palisade, MN) — Long Lake Conservation Center will be thost venue for renowned storyteller Dr. Michael Migizi Sullivan in sharing Ojibwe legends and myths February 26th at 6:30pm for in-person and virtual attendance.

Sullivan will share an Aadizookaan, a sacred story often about a legend or myth, focusing on Wenabozho, a historical and spiritual icon of the Ojibwe-Anishinaabeg. The story will first be told Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) before being recited in English.

The schedule for the event will begin with a Nature Walk at 4:30pm, Hors d’oeuvres at 5:30pm, then the storytelling at 6:30pm.In-person attendance is limited to the first 200 people, but the event is also available via Zoom. Pre-registration is required. All attendees are required to wear a mask while indoors.
