Halstad Fire Department’s 1st Annual Mixer Set for this Saturday
Halstad, MN — The Halstad Fire Department is hosting their first annual Mixed Stag this Saturday, March 19th at the Halstad LRC. The event will include a dinner, door prizes, raffles, drinks, and more. Social Hour begins at 5pm with Dinner at 6pm. Michael Bare of the Halstad Fire Department talks about the dinner and happenings throughout the evening.
Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards their pumper truck that was purchased last year, according to Bare.
The Halstad Fire Department has been active in the community hosting other events such as meat raffles and bingo at area bars to continue to raise money for that pumper truck. However, Bare notes that they also do events such as this to introduce some of their new members and provide an opportunity to get to know everyone in the community.
Tickets for this Saturday’s Halstad Fire Department 1st Annual Mixer can be purchased at the Valley General Store, Halstad Utility Office, Red River State Bank, or by contacting your favorite Halstad Fire Fighter.
