Fosston Junior Qualifies For State Speech Meet

Fosston High School Junior Alexus Perreault is on her way to the State Speech Meet at East View High School in Apple Valley this weekend. Alexus qualified for state by placing second in her category at the Section Speech Meet which was held at Fosston High School. We caught up with Alexus and asked about the poem she will be reciting at the State Speech Meet.

Alexus is a junior at Fosston High School. She has been in Speech since she was in 7th grade. She also performs in plays and says that experience has helped her in speech too.

The Fosston High School speech coach Margarite Rue tells us about a performance for family, friends and the community that was held earlier this week that showcased the talents of all of the members of Fosston’s speech team.
