Hillsboro School Board News & Notes from June 9th Meeting
Hillsboro, ND — The Hillsboro School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Thursday morning, June 9th where they approved the hiring of Kraus-Anderson as their Construction Manager at Risk. Working in conjunction with Icon Architects on the district facility assessments, Hillsboro Superintendent Paula Suda says Kraus Anderson will provide more detailed costs of renovating their current facility versus adding on or building new.
Superintendent Suda also updated the school board on some of the facility projects taking place this summer, including concession stand updates and new pickleball courts.
There were a few staffing updates this week as well. The Hillsboro School Board accepted a pair of resignations and approved hires in some key areas.
And the board approved a request from a student to attend the National FCCLA Convention at the end of the month, according to Suda.
The Hillsboro School Board will meet next on June 28th to canvass the results of next week’s special election.
