Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida talks FEMA Storm Relief in monthly conversation

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida, in his monthly update, spoke about the fallout of storms that did damage all over that now will receive assistance through Disaster Relief funding through the State of Minnesota and the federal government.

As an example of how the amount of relief funding is determined.

Sheriff Guida says FEMA has been in talks with Aitkin County for proper distribution of funds.

With the Sheriff’s Office losing the facility that housed their boats due to the storms at the Fairgrounds, adjustments will have to be made for the future.
