The Night to Unite is Tonight
Ada, MN — Tonight is National Night Out, otherwise known as the Night to Unite, which is a night set aside across the US for block parties, community gatherings, and festivals geared at allowing community members the chance at getting to know their local law enforcement and first responders and get rid of some of the stigma’s around police officers, according to Lee Ann Hall of the Ada Chamber of Commerce.
The Ada Police Department and Ada Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their National Night Out gathering from 5:30pm to 8pm tonight at the Norman County Fairgrounds. In addition to a number of law enforcement and first responder agencies, Hall says there will be opportunities for community members to learn more about other service organizations and departments that provide needs in the county.
The kids should stay plenty busy as well during the Ada National Night Out with bouncy games, bubble station, climbing wall, and more.
The Chamber of Commerce will also be serving up a free will donation pulled pork supper, along with hot dogs, chips, beans, and cookies and the Ada Cub Scouts will be offering up root beer floats as well.
