Elvis Tribute Kicks Off 2022-23 Top Hat Theatre Season this Saturday
Ulen, MN — Put on your Blue Suede Shoes! Your chance to see Art Kistler and his “Forever Elvis!” Elvis Pressley tribute is Now or Never! Kistler and his EP Boulevard Show Band have been travelling the country playing Elvis’s biggest hits for more than 25 years and this Saturday, September 17th he makes a trip to the Barry J Houglum Auditorium at the Ulen-Hitterdal School to kick off the 2022-23 Top Hat Theatre Season. Art doesn’t claim to be an Elvis impersonator but rather a tribute artist instead. He says there is only one Elvis, and there’s no way anyone is fooling the audience into believing that’s him on stage.
How Kistler got into performing as an Elvis tribute was actually by accident. He says as he began his singing career, he happened to discover that he sounded a lot like the King and eventually utilized his talents by taking it to the next step.
Kistler takes to the stage dressed as Elvis in the later years, but still performs hits from all throughout his career. He says the audience should expect to be “all shook up” with a very entertaining Vegas style show
Showtime is at 7:30pm with doors opening at 6:30. Tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for students and will be available at the door can be reserved by contacting the Ulen-Hitterdal School Office.
