St. Joseph’s Soup & Pie is Thursday
Ada, MN — Enjoy delicious homemade soups and pies and help support those in need this Christmas during the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church’s Annual Soup & Pie Day this Thursday, December 1st from 11am until 1pm. The Soup and Pie Day has been running strong for more than a quarter of a century and Terry Steen has been organizing it for the past twenty years. Steen says per usual, this year’s selection of soups and pies will be homemade, and the soups will even be sourced with local ingredients.
And after you’re done sipping your soup, you can browse a wide selection of silent auction items during the event. Steen says along with a couple of pales of the delicious soup, up for bids will be a number of different baskets for all interests.
The best part about this event, according to Steen, is that every penny taken in during Soup and Pie Day goes back to area churches to help people in need during the Holiday season.
This Thursday’s Soup and Pie Day will be available for both in-person dining or drive-through. You can call 218-784-4131 to place your to-go order. It is a free will donation, but they do ask for a minimum of $12 per meal.
