Weather & Trail Conditions Pristine Ahead of Busy Snodeo Weekend for Naytahwaush Nightriders Snowmobile Club
Naytahwaush, MN — The Naytahwaush Nightriders Snowmobile Club invites everyone to hit the trails and come support their 53rd annual Snodeo this weekend on North Twin Lake. Enjoy the professional cross country racing from the Cor Powersports Series and KC Pro West Youth Snowmobile racing both Saturday and Sunday at 9am, the Dawn Kirsh Memorial Radar Saturday at 9am, and a Vintage Snowmobile and Old Timers Run on Saturday afternoon.
Weather for the annual Snodeo has been quite unpredictable in recent years, from blizzards to flooding on the lake, but Naytahwaush Nightriders Vice President Carrot Paul says the forecast looks perfect this time around.
Snodeo is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for the Naytahwaush Nightriders Snowmobile Club, who’s had a very busy season keeping up with trail maintenance. Paul adds that this has been one of their busiest seasons on the trails, which remain in very good shape.
The entry fee into this weekend’s Snodeo is $10 per person per day. Raffle tickets are also being sold for a chance to win a ZR200 Youth snowmobile for $5 each, which will be drawn for on Sunday, March 5th.
