Aitkin County Board of Commissioners meeting from March 28th
The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday in the Government Center Board Room.
They approved Consent Agenda items including the purchase of 2 Pickups for the Land Department, a temporary liquor license, and donation to the Sentence to Serve program from Logan and Wealthwood Townships totaling $1,125.
A request to upgrade the jail’s video conferencing rooms in order to make remote Court appearances at a cost of $34,523 was approved.
Long Lake Conservation Center requested funds to lobby for the Outdoor School for All bill. The request for $5,000 was approved.
Approval was also granted for County Engineer John Welle’s contract bid for 572,000 gallons for calcium chloride totaling $725,296.
The annual Aitkin County Residential Waste Electronics Collection June 3rd from 10am-1pm at a cost of $15 per screen item was also approved.
The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners will hold their next meeting on April 11th at 9am .
