Ron Ohren Benefit Update

HENDRUM, MN—Here’s an update to a story R&J News has been following.  A benefit was held Thursday night in Hendrum for Ron Ohren and his wife Michelle.  Ron Ohren was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year and will need to stay in Minneapolis for further treatment.  John Delacruz, one of the organizers for the fundraiser, says it was a big success.

Delacruz says they cooked some 400 pork chops and 180 hot dogs and still ran out of food.  As for the amount of money raised—they’re still counting.
