Ada-Borup-West School Board News & Notes from August 9th Meeting
Ada, MN — The Ada-Borup-West School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday morning, August 9th. At the meeting the board discussed staffing needs heading into the fall semester. While they were able to fill a few more positions this week, Ada-Borup-West Superintendent Aaron Cook says still have a few positions that they may need to get creative with if they can’t get them filled before next month.
The annual audit conducted by Brady Martz & Associates was also discussed. Superintendent Cook says financially they appear to be right on track with projections.
The Ada-Borup-West School Board also reviewed and discussed their goals, which is something done each year according to Cook.
The board plans to make some more slight adjustments before approving the goals at their meeting next month.
The filling period is also now open until August 16th for those interested in running for Ada-Borup-School Board. The board will be transitioning from an 8 person board to seven. The seats held by Nancy Merkens, Dena Bishop, Janna Engel, and Faye Delong are all up for re-election.
