Ada City Council Approves Plans for Annual Citywide Spring Clean Up
Ada, MN — It was a quick and quiet Ada City Council meeting on Tuesday night, March 8th at Ada Council Chambers. Perhaps a sign that spring is getting closer, Al’s Disposal’s presented their annual Citywide Spring Clean Up contract at the meeting. Ada City Administrator Ashley Larson says they set a date for May 5th – 7th and more details will be coming out shortly.
Larson added that Al’s Disposal did have a few courtesy reminders for residents for the weekly garbage pickup as well and for those who use the recycling center.
Administrator Larson did have some good news to report from the Dekko Center in her reports. She says both the steam room and hot tub are up and running and that they currently are in the planning stages for a fundraiser for the eventually replacement of the hot tub.
The Ada City Council also approved $500 donations to the Ada Boy Scouts and to the Ada-Borup-West Post Prom.
Councilmembers Scott Erickson and Mike Nelson will join the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program this Thursday at 9am to further recap this week’s meeting.
