Aitkin City Council meeting from Monday, March 6th

The Aitkin City Council met Monday night in the Community Room of the Aitkin Public Library.

DNR Forester Troy Holcomb presented to the Board on the Tree Board’s activity since they began in 2019.

Bob Nicko from the Street Department spoke of a construction project concerning drainage problems on Bunker Hill Drive over by Riverwood Healthcare.

The project will be on hold with the expansion of Riverwood’s Surgical suites.

The Council moved forward with Bonding Requests for work on the City Park Project and the Bunker Hill Drive Project as part of a request from Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar.

The Aitkin City Council will hold a Work Session meeting on Monday, March 20th at 4pm with their regular meeting set for 6pm from the Community Room of the Aitkin Public Library.
