(Aitkin, MN) — As the roads continue to get packed down with ice and snow, cars are going to end up in the ditch and keep towing services busy no matter the road or weather conditions.

In our monthly conversation with Aitkin County Toward Zero Deaths, we spoke with Josh Paulson of ASAP Towing in Aitkin about his equipment and trucks that can play a small part in staying safe on icy roads with cars going by.

Paulson and his staff do have the benefit of having grown up in the area and know some of the roads that could be perilous in any situation.

When arriving upon a car in the ditch, Paulson must determine where to take the vehicle once it is loaded on the truck.

Paulson says even with the small staff they have, they still can get the job around their service area.
