Al’s Vintage Snowmobile Ride & Indoor Fishing Derby Highlight Final Weekend of SnoMo Days

Twin Valley, MN — Twin Valley Sno Mo Days continues with it’s final weekend of fun winter adventures this Saturday, February 12^th with opportunities for both outdoor and indoor activities. One of Saturday’s activities pays tribute to the rich snowmobiling past in Twin Valley and the Viking snowmobiles that were manufactured there. Those with vintage snowmobile snowmobiles are welcome to participate in Al’s Vintage Ride starting at 11am at the Twin Valley Liquor Store. Organizer Al Carlsrud is a Viking Snowmobile collector who will have a trailer full of unique Viking snowmobiles both on display and on the ride. However, no matter what make or model vintage snowmobile you own, all are welcome to participate, according to Twin Valley Liquor Store manager Lori Skaurud.

Riders are welcome to display their sleds starting at 11am and the ride will begin at 1pm.  There is no cost to participate.

And if outdoors isn’t your thing, you can always participate in the 9^th annual Indoor Fishing Derby at the Twin Valley Liquor Store from 3-6pm. Skaurud says grab a drink, cast a line, and see what comes out of the hole!

Chili will be served following the derby.
