Applications Open for 4-H State Ambassador Program
Ada, MN — Applications are now open for Minnesota 4-Her’s looking to take their leadership to the next level through their State Ambassador program. Linda Houglum with Norman County 4-H talks more about the State Ambassador program and the leadership opportunities it provides.
During the State Ambassador term, they participate in a variety of activities to promote and represent 4-H and plan and implement high quality programming for Minnesota’s youth. State Ambassadors gather in person four times per year to engage in personal leadership development activities and to work as a team to create opportunities for middle and high school youth. At leadership events such as BLU and YELLO, the State Ambassadors carry out their plans while also teaching and facilitating educational sessions for the youth participants.
Applications are due April 17th. Contact your local Extension Office for more information.
