City of Ada Provides Lawn Care Reminders for Residents
Ada, MN — The City of Ada and Ada Public Works is strongly encouraging resident to stay up on their mowing or face a hefty bill. The city has given some property owners some slack to start the year due to unfavorable weather, but now that it’s drying up and conditions have stabilized, grass letters are being sent out. If residents still don’t mow after letters are sent out, Ada Public Works Director Brian Rasmussen says they’ll mow it for you at a hefty rate of $100 an hour.
Rasmussen also notes that they are always willing to be flexible and give you extra time if you reach out to the city.
And for those who are mowing their lawn, Rasmussen asks them NOT to blow their grass clippings into the street. That too will likely result in a fine.
For questions, please contact Ada Public Works and Ada City Hall.
