The meeting saw the council chambers be packed with citizens ready to voice their opinions on the funding of the Northland Arboretum, which was the big ticket agenda item. In our past conversations with Mayor Dave Badeaux, he mentioned that with the organization receiving funding through the city’s charter and the charter recently having its language updated, there were questions that needed to be answered with regard to the Arboretum’s qualifications for funding.
