City of Fosston unveils EV Charging Station

The City of Fosston was awarded the first ever grant in the state of Minnesota for an EV Charging Station. The grant provides funds for the city to install needed equipment. Fosston City Administrator Cassie Heide explains how these 4 charging stations will work.

Cassie explains the economic advantage of being one of the first small towns in the area to offer EV Charging – particularly the fast charge station- and how this is literally putting Fosston Minnesota on the “map”:

As we closed up the interview Cassie explained the location of the charging stations and how the location is advantageous to increasing usage as EV technology becomes more commonplace. The new installation continues to support Fosstons legacy of being a progress minded community.
