Community Co-ops Installing Natural Gas in Waubun

Waubun, MN — Community Co-ops has now begun work installing Natural Gas service to the Waubun community. This project was a couple years in the making and was delayed this year due to the wet spring, but Jake Swiers of Community Co-Ops says they are in town and encourage residents to get in touch with them if they would like to be hooked up to the service.

Community Co-ops already offers natural gas service to the communities of Twin Valley, Mahnomen, Fertile, Beltrami, Fisher, Gary, and Red Lake Falls. Swiers says if you live in those areas and would like to receive the service, they can still get you hooked up this summer.

The big advantage to having natural gas service, according to Swiers, is the convenience.
