CRMC, American Red Cross Blood Donations collect over 30 units

Thirty seven units of blood were donated at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s American Red Cross Blood Drive held at Heartwood on September 9. Thank you to the donors who took the time to give blood. Each blood donation can help save up to three lives.

Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood. The Red Cross relies on community partners to help ensure a sufficient blood supply for patients. About 80 percent of blood donations made to the Red Cross are through blood drives set up by community organizations, groups and businesses.
