Darcie’s Dancers Dancing To Competition

On Friday, May 2nd Darcie’s Dancers will be on the road to Duluth to compete in the annual Regionals Competition a week after having their annual recital. Both they had to leave for competition, Darcie and four of her dancers joined us at the station to talk about this past weekend’s recital.

The dance recital, titled “Oh What a Feeling” was as popular as it has been every year with friends and family sprinting to their seats in excitement.

So for the dancers, what was their favorite song?

And their favorite costume(s)?

Darcie praises her dancers in the year-long work they put into preparing for this weekend, and the most work seems to go into their tap numbers.

With how jittery performing can make these young ladies, how do they get rid of those jitters?

Up next for Darcie’s Dance is the Regional Competition in Duluth, Minnesota where they hope to make a second appearance in a row at the National Competition.

And there’s one goal for Regionals.
