Donna Scholl Named Citizen of the Year; Valley General Store Business of the Year During Halstad Community Dinner

Halstad, MN — On Tuesday night, the Halstad EDA welcomed community members to the annual Halstad Community Dinner. Around 100 people attended the event, which featured Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson giving his State of the City address, as well as local organizations such as the EDA, Halstad Business League, Halstad Lions, Norman County EDA, and Western Norman Community Fund providing updates. Halstad EDA member Jessica Spaeth says the intent of the organization updates was to keep the community informed, and maybe get more people interested.

Valley General Store was named the Halstad Business of the Year

In the State of the City address, Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson talked about the many things that are happening in the city of Halstad. Jessica Spaeth highlights a few of things being worked on in the city.
