EPHC Hosting Open House & Swedish Dinner During Light Up the Night and Lefse Fest in Fosston
Fosston, MN — The East Polk Heritage Center and participating Fosston businesses welcome you to their annual “Light up the Night and Lefse Fest this Friday, November 18th. “Light up the Night” is a years-long tradition that kicks off the holiday season on the Friday before Thanksgiving. The East Polk Heritage Center will be hosting an Open House on Friday afternoon from 3-5pm at the Larson House by serving a Swedish Meatball Dinner at the Fosston Civic Center from 5-7pm. Bonnie Stewart with the East Polk Heritage Center says the Larson House will be beautifully decorated and they encourage everyone to check it out during their Open House.
Lefsa Fest will take place at the Fosston Civic Center from 5-7pm on Friday night where vendors will be on hand with fresh lefse ready to sell or to take orders. Stewart says during that the East Polk Heritage Center is serving up a homemade Swedish meatball supper with all the delicious, traditional Swedish fixings.
Many other businesses will be hosting open houses on Friday night and the Fosston City Bus will also be running from 5-7pm so folks can enjoy the beautifully lit businesses and get in the Holiday spirit.
