Erskine Community Thanksgiving Meal
Erskine, MN — Thanks to generous donations and numerous volunteers, those in the Erskine Community without Thanksgiving plans or unable to afford a traditional Thanksgiving meal can get one at no cost to them. Erin Green organizes this Free Community Meal each Thanksgiving and again at Christmas. Green says during the holidays, no one should go hungry or without a decent hot meal.
The meal will consist of Turkey, dressing, and all the usual fixings. Those who pre-registered can either choose to pick up the meal Thursday night at the Erskine Community Center or can even have it delivered if they don’t have adequate transportation or are unable to leave their homes.
The deadline to register for the meal was November 19th, but Green says they will do whatever they can to try to accommodate anyone who is not yet signed up. Call 218-280-2992 for more information.
