Halstad Holiday Kickoff is Saturday
Halstad, MN — Kickoff the Christmas season this weekend in Halstad! The Halstad Community Club is hosting a Holiday Kickoff this Saturday, November 26th with some shopping, visiting with Santa, making crafts, and other family fun at both the Landmark building and the Halstad LRC. Sabrina Anderson with the Halstad Community Club says they’ve been doing a craft and vendor show for the last several years, but they wanted to collaborate with others to make this event something the whole family could enjoy.
The Halstad Lions will serve breakfast at the LRC from 8am to 10am and the Craft and Vendor Show will be split up between both the LRC and Landmark from 9am until 2pm.
The rest of the family activities, including the Festival of Trees, Christmas Sign workshop, Christmas Baby Yoda Kids Workshop, and photos with Santa will take place at the Landmark. If you haven’t taken your holiday photos yet, Anderson says VC Photography will be doing some quick and easy mini sessions as well.
And the Holiday spirit isn’t just contained to the Landmark and the Halstad LRC. Randy Wescott will be offering hayrides from 3-5pm followed by the Community Tree Lighting and Caroling at the World’s Largest Sugar Beet at 5pm. Local businesses will be hosting in-house specials all day as well.
