Fertile-Beltrami School Board News & Notes from February 8th Meeting
Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday night, February 8th. At the meeting, the board approved a formal agreement with Foss Architecture for an upcoming secure entrance project. Now that the agreement is in place, Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says they can seek out bids for the project, which is estimated to cost just under $600,000.
With teaching and support staff having to put in extra hours and deal with a number of additional challenges, the school board this week approved a stipend for their employees, according to Superintendent Clarke.
In other staffing items, the board approved the new teacher’s contract and a few personnel changes.
And the Fertile-Beltrami School Board approved an increase in services to their summer mental health program.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
