Fertile-Beltrami School Board Sets Levy
Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board held their regular monthly meeting last Tuesday, December 13th. As per usual at each December meeting, the board held their Truth-in Taxation public hearing and certified the annual levy. Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says most property owners will likely see a small increase to their taxes over last year.
The school board also approved purchasing a new vehicle from Christian Motors to be used for drivers’ education. Superintendent Clarke says they were unable to order earlier in the year from a fleet service, but luckily their local dealership had something available.
And Clarke reports that so far the district has used 3 and a half of the E-learning days with a lot of winter remaining. He notes that ideally he’d like to have students, especially at the younger grade levels, learning in the classroom.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board also approved the annual polling place resolution.
