Gearing Up for the 2022 Polk County Fair
Fertile, MN — The Polk County Fairboard has been busy preparing for this year’s 121st Polk County Fair, which is set to get underway next Wednesday, July 6th and runs through Sunday, July 10th. Some improvements on the grounds were recently completed as well. Polk County Fairboard President Dan Grunhovd says they completed some maintenance to the grandstands and remodeled one of the older barns to accommodate the petting zoo.
The grandstand lineup remains the same this year during the Polk County Fair, including two nights of rodeo, two nights of baja, and the demo derby to close it out. The Dock Dogs are also back again this year, but Grunhovd says due to popular demand they are expanding the show.
Other highlights for this year’s Polk County Fair include the talent contest, bike drawings, lots of musical acts, fireworks, 20 food vendors, and of course the Todd Armstrong Carnival on the midway. See the full line up at www.polkcountyfairfertilemn.org.
