Have a Good Time in Gary! Gary Days is June 17th – 19th
Gary, MN — If you’re going to go to Gary, Minnesota this weekend, you’re going to have a good time. It’s the annual Gary Days celebration Friday, June 17th through Sunday, June 19th. Events throughout the weekend include a family movie night on Friday night at the Gary Park, parade and kiddie parade, cornhole tournament, kids activities, basketball tournament, axe throwing, bingo, and street dance on Saturday, and community worship, pancake breakfast, and scavenger hunt at the Gary Pines on Sunday.
Gary Mayor Buck Engen says as usual, the entire community is always good about volunteering and stepping up to help make Gary Days a success every year.
Engen, who doubles at the Gary Fire Chief, encourages those looking for a good bite to eat to stop up to the new Gary Fire Hall on Saturday from 11am to 1pm for some grilled burgers and brats.
Also on Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30pm, the Gary Lutheran Church will be hosting a meatball supper.
On Sunday, Gary Days winds down with some great opportunities to refresh, rejoice, and relax.
