Hidden Valley Bringing The Hammer
The Ely Nordic Ski and Bike Club is hosting their weekly bike race, the Hidden Valley Hammer. I was able to talk to Mark Sponholz, a board member for Ely Nordic Ski and Bike Club and race director for the Hidden Valley Hammer, and he had this to say on what the race is.
I then asked him if this was an annual event they would host.
And the best part, registrations are still open!
So how long has Mark been a board member?
Mark also encouraged family and friends of racers to stick around and watch the races.
Are there any rules people should be aware of?
Mark also reminds us of when and where the race is being held.
He also reiterates how this event is indeed open to everyone interested.
Of course, it is still a race so there are indeed a prize given to the winners, but Mark emphasizes that the Hidden Valley Hammer is an event meant for having fun.
So are there any upcoming events?
