Highway 9 and Highway 200 intersection officially changed to four way stop

After years of petitioning the state, the City of Ada is officially getting a four way stop at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 200. R&J News had the chance to catch up with Leslie Seitz of the Minnesota DOT Public Affairs, who tells us more about this change, and the process that led up to it. 

On top of the better flow of traffic, Seitz says there are also a number of other benefits that will come with this change to a four way stop. 

Seitz says this project is more than just adding two stop signs, as there are other things included in this project. 

As for future plans with the intersection, Seitz says she is currently unaware of any plans to eventually turn the intersection into a roundabout.
