Hillsboro Public Schools Lay the Foundation for Change in 2024
The Hillsboro Public School Board met in regular session Thursday morning.
The Board formally approved the resignation of current Superintendent, Paula Suda, following the completion of the 2023-2024 school year. The Board also approved next steps in the process of hiring the district’s next superintendent, including setting an application deadline for January 31st. The Board expressed their appreciation for Suda’s nearly two decades of service in the role of Superintendent.
As Suda remarked on her upcoming departure, she also informed the board of an upcoming arrival, the district’s new Transportation Director.
Other action items approved included: the 2024-25 school calendar; three additional staff member hires and one resignation; a date change for spring parent teacher conferences; joining the North Dakota School Construction Coalition; and a teacher tuition agreement. High School Principal, Terry Baesler, also discussed the framework for the school’s Choice Ready plan.
