Ice Cats 12U Open Season At Home

he Ice Cats 12U team played their first pair of games yesterday at the Rainy River College field against Hibbing 12U. In game one, the Ice Cats 12U were triumphant 10-7 as Brailyn earned the win surrendering four hits and seven runs (six earned) over two and two-thirds innings. Tenley, Bristol, and Brailyn each collected one hit as Kelty, Ruby, Izzy, and Bristol each drove in one run.

Then, in game two the Int’l Falls Ice Cats 12U and Hibbing 12u tied as Bristol stepped in the circle first. The pitcher allowed four hits, striking out one as she also provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led with two runs batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-1 on the day.
