Juniors Begin Prep for ACTs
Ada, MN — Juniors at Ada-Borup-West will get their first taste of one of the most important tests they’ll ever take this week. The ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. The assessment measures high school students’ general educational development and their capability to complete college-level work with the multiple choice tests covering four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science.
The juniors at Ada-Borup-West will be taking a practice ACT Test this Friday as part of their ACT prep offering in the district so that they can get a better grasp on what to expect from the real thing, according to Ada-Borup-West High School Principal Josh Carlson.
Despite how important of a test it can be, Carlson says the best thing students can do is relax and avoid over-stressing on the day of the test.
Juniors at Ada-Borup-West will take the actual ACT test on April 18th.
