Lake Park-Audubon Making Final Tweaks to Elementary Remodel Plans
Audubon, MN — This past November, Lake Park-Audubon School District voters approved a roughly $21.6 million school building referendum that would provide more space, improve classrooms, and address deferred maintenance needs in their fifty year old Elementary School in Audubon. Following that approval, the district is currently working on making adjustments to the final plan before putting the project out for bids, according to Lake Park-Audubon Elementary Principal Craig Bahr.
Principal Bahr says most of the changes from the initial design are logistical and improve the overall flow of the building.
Voters also approved a $1.3 million referendum to provide more space for hand-on Career and Technical Education and collaborative small groups areas in the high school in Lake Park.
