Lake Park-Audubon School Board News & Notes From November 28th Meeting
Lake Park, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 28th where they approved the new Strategic Plan for the district. The previous Strategic Plan had not been updated in a while, so Lake Park-Audubon Superintendent Dr. Tim Godfrey says they’ve been working on putting together a new one over the past year to help guide them and set goals for the future.
Dr. Godfrey also shared news this week about a new reading intervention program they will be utilizing called Waterford Upstart. The at-home program is for four-year old’s and will be available free of charge for district families.
Transportation was once again a talking point during their meeting on Monday night as the district is currently down a route and is struggling to find drivers.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board also approved hiring Rachel Carlson as a Middle School WIN Teacher, approved a snow removal bid from Westlund Excavating, and approved an overnight band and choir to Disney in April.
