Lakes Area Music Festival Cabaret Back By Popular Demand

The Lakes Area Music Festival’s all-star cast of opera singers will serenade audiences with some of their musical theater favorites at this year’s Cabaret event, August 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Grandview Lodge’s Norway Center. This popular ticketed event will sweep audiences off their feet as soloists from the Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Opera and more perform beloved works by tunesmiths like George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Andrew Lloyd Weber.

The Cabaret begins with a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m., where attendees can meet some of the international stars who make the Brainerd Lakes Area their summer home. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at lakesareamusic.org or by calling (218) 831-0765.

Founded in 2009, the Lakes Area Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The 2022 season is  bringing more than 200 artists from around the world to participate in chamber music, symphonic repertoire, opera, outreach, and education.
