Landmark in Halstad Becomes Haunted House

October 26, 2022 News -- KRJB-KRJM-KKCQ 0

Halstad, MN — Enjoy some haunted Halloween family fun in Halstad this week followed by the real-deal scare through the halls of the former school. The Halstad Community Club with help from Faye & Kris DeLong will be hosting a Haunted House this Saturday from 11am until 1pm for the family and then the lights go dark for the teen and adult version on Monday, October 31st from 7pm to 9pm. Faye and her husband Kris have been scaring the kids for the several years on their “haunted” property, but this year Faye says they are working with the Halstad Community Club to bring that scare indoors at the Landmark facility.

DeLong adds that the Landmark facility, which is the former Norman County West High School, provides a unique setting for a haunted house with many naturally, creepy-appearing spaces.

There are two chances to experience the Haunted House at the Landmark. Come Saturday with the whole family and enjoy bouncy houses, pumpkin decorating, scavenger hunt, and costume contest or return Monday with the older kids for a more thrilling and bone chilling experience.

There is no cost for either haunted house experience.

Also, this Saturday morning, the Halstad Lions Club will be hosting a free-will offering breakfast from 8am until 10am at the Halstad LRC.
