It’s an important stretch for students in ISD 361 as MCA testing gets underway in the weeks ahead.
School officials say strong attendance, good sleep, and proper nutrition can make a big difference in student success. Being in class on time helps students stay engaged, access support from teachers, and maintain a consistent routine.
Parents are also encouraged to make sure students are getting enough rest, as sleep plays a key role in memory, focus, and handling stress during testing.
A balanced diet is just as important—helping fuel both the body and brain for better concentration and performance.
Families can also support students by having positive conversations and encouraging them to do their best.
Educators say a strong support system at home can boost confidence and help students succeed throughout the testing period.
