Mahnomen County Commission News & Notes
Mahnomen, MN — Renovations for the new downtown Mahnomen County Human Services facility are starting to wrap up and soon work will begin on updates to the Mahnomen County Courthouse as well. That’s according to Mahnomen County Administrator CJ Holl, who provided an update during a conversation on the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program last week. Holl estimates that Human Services may be able to move into their new home at the former United Valley bank building sometime around the end of the month.
In other news from the Mahnomen County Commission, Administrator Holl say they are currently in the process of conducting an employee job description and wage study.
And the county is also in the process of updating their Multi-Hazzard Mitigation Plan, according to County Emergency Manager Ed Snetsinger.
The Multi-Hazzard Mitigation Plan will be presented and adopted at the next Mahnomen County Commission meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12th.
