Mahnomen School Board News & Notes from July 11th Meeting
Mahnomen, MN — The Mahnomen School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, July 11th. The July meeting is normally a quiet one and this month was no exception. Mahnomen School Superintendent Jeff Bisek says a majority of the meeting was taking care of the usual beginning of the year business items.
As part of their usual beginning of the year business, the Mahnomen School Board set their annual fees and rates. Included in that was a pay increase for substitute teachers, according to Superintendent Bisek.
And the school board is continuing to work on getting all their open positions filled before this fall. Bisek provides an update on their recent hires and current staffing needs in the district.
Superintendent Bisek also encourages any families who may be new to the district to make sure to stop in to the district office this summer to register for classes.
